Just about everything is included in your price. Enjoy warm, full meals for breakfast, lunch & dinner with your choice of buffet style or the main dining room. You can complimentary snacks 24 hours per day at Café Promenade. G&S has included the deluxe beverage package in your cruise fare at a discounted rate, which also includes gratuity for the bartenders. Quench your thirst with unlimited drinks from Coca-Cola to fine wine, premium and frozen cocktails to a full selection of beers, fresh squeezed juice, premium tea & coffee, as well as bottled still & sparkling water. Lots of entertainment is included in your rate including live bands & Broadway style shows, game shows, dance classes, a sports deck, gym, pools, rock climbing, ice skating. G&S has a separate schedule of activities that are private to the group that includes nightly theme parties, shows, seminars are more.
There are so many activities included in your price! Of course you have all of the G&S private events. Plus you play laser tag, ice skate or watch an ice show, catch a Broadway Style show, enjoy an Escape room, play mini golf, ride the surf simulator, enjoy the fitness center & more. Check your daily cruise schedule that is left in your cabin for times.
You could cruise and not spend any money, but there are optional items you may want to budget for. Gambling, shopping and spa treatments all cost extra. There are some specialty restaurants that have a cover charge. Starbucks also has an additional charge. Room service is available any time of the day or night - simply order from the room service menu located in your stateroom/suite (*service charge of $7.95* applies). An 18% gratuity is additional and will automatically be added to your check. Drinks from room service or the mini bar are not included in your beverage package. Last but not least, when you arrive to each island, it is possible to explore on your own, but if you wanted to participate in activities or parties on the islands, there would be an extra charge involved.
Although it is strongly recommended, everyone is not required to have a passport. You can board with your original Vital Statistics issued birth certificate and your valid driver’s license or state issued I.D. for U.S. citizens. Please make sure both your birth certificate and your license or I.D. match your name. For non-U.S. citizens, please contact the consulate or embassy to ensure that you have the correct documents.
On Navigator of the Seas, the cabin categories are as follows:
• Inside Stateroom (no window)
• Promenade Stateroom (bowed window overlooking the Royal Promenade)
• Oceanview Stateroom (small window)
• Balcony Stateroom (cabin + private balcony area)
• Suites: Junior Suite, Grand Suite, Owner’s Suite

All cabins have a private bathroom, television, vanity, safe & hair dryer. The beds can be separated to make 2 single beds, or they are put together by the cruise staff making one queen bed.
The sooner the better! Prices and payment plans are at their lowest when the group is first promoted. As the travel date gets closer and cabin categories sell out, you will see prices increase and the initial money required will be higher.
This is a large group that has been given discounted prices and a payment plan, so you know the type of cabin you are in, but not assigned a specific cabin until final payment. Cruise fares are normally provided as double occupancy. A single supplement is an added charge that the cruise line imposes when you want your own stateroom. The good part about booking a cabin as a single, is that you always have the option of adding a guest down the road if you want to, while locking in the pricing once you deposit is made.
As this is a large travel group, we have lots of single travelers that make lifelong friends on our trips, and of course there are also many travelers looking for roommates. We have found over the years that rather than being assigned a roommate, people like to get to know each other a bit online, so G&S set up a Facebook page just for those looking for roommates. Just click on the link and join the group to get started with the roommate concierge.
Gratuities are tips for the cabin stewards, the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants and cafes on the ship. These employees work hard and long hours, so although its voluntary, our guests always want to take care of the dedicated staff, so we have included it in the price. This way you don’t have to worry about it during the cruise.
The discounted rates and payment plans offered come with a caveat. The cruise line wants a guarantee that cabins will be sold, or they will impose a penalty. This is why we provide all the information up front during the booking process to that the terms are clear. That being said, we understand that unexpected things can happen, which is why we strongly suggest that you protect your investment by purchasing travel insurance. This way, if you are cancelling for a covered reason, the penalty will be reimbursed to you by the insurance. Once a payment is more than 5 days past due, a late fee of $25 is imposed. If a reservation is more than 10 days past due and you have not called or emailed to get an approved payment plan with the cruise line, your reservation will be cancelled. Should your reservation be cancelled due to lack of payment and you want to re-activate down the road, it is possible the cruise line will not reinstate your reservation, and that prices would be quoted at today’s rate vs. the group rate when you initially booked. It is much better to be proactive & reach out to us so that we can work on your behalf prior to a reservation being cancelled.
There is a strict payment plan in place, however we understand that sometimes unexpected things can happen. For extenuating circumstances that can be proved in writing such as job less, injury, death in the family, etc. we can often get the cruise line to grand an extension. It’s important you call us before the payment deadline and not after it is past due.
Per the booking terms, the cruise line has a per person penalty, which is why the funds cannot be transferred to someone else booked on the trip. You can however find someone new to cruise in your place, pay a name change fee, and they can take over your payments from there. Please note, name changes can only be done when an account is current. Past due or cancelled reservations are not eligible for name changes.
Life happens. It may be something unexpected while on your cruise or even an emergency while you are on your trip. We strongly encourage you to consider the purchase of travel insurance to cover unexpected events such as loss of income, medical emergencies for you or someone in your immediate family before and during the trip, a death in the family, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events. Every year we have passengers that lose their investment, because they “didn’t think it could happen to them” or thought there would be an exception for their circumstances. It can often cost as little as $60 to protect your vacation investment. Prices do vary based on your age and the amount of trip that you are insuring. If you are traveling with friends or family and would like to request a cabin close by, please email the names of the guests in your party so that we can submit the request to the cruise line. Cabins close to one another cannot be guaranteed, but the earlier we get the request in to the cruise line, the better chance we can arrange it for you. If you have already emailed us a cross reference request and want to make sure it's noted with the cruise line, please check your profile and you should see everyone listed under 'Cross Referenced Passengers'. If for any reason your cross-reference cabin request is not to your satisfaction, a dining cross reference will most likely be granted. To add to that further, there can be a designated meeting spot on the ship for everyone in your party to gather when it is time for a group activity for all of you.
