Tuesday, October 13, 2026 Cape Town, South Africa

Half Day Cape Town City Tour

After breakfast, meet in the lobby at 8:45 am for a tour of Cape Town by coach. The cable car that takes you up Table Mountain promises thrilling views matched only by the vistas from the top. Back in the city, continue with your guide through the colorful Cape Malay Quarter to the Company Gardens for a walking tour. Take in the Grand Parade where Nelson Mandela addressed the nation upon his release in 1990 and learn more about the Apartheid era at the District Six Museum. Return to the hotel at about 2 pm and your afternoon is free to explore on your own or relax and enjoy the hotel amenities.

This evening join us for our welcome dinner hosted by Keith Jones and G&S DJ's. Open bar is included for 2 hours.

Full Day Cape Winelands Tour

Embark on a full-day exploration of the Cape Winelands, a breath-taking journey through the wine-producing regions near Cape Town. This tour is unique for its combination of scenic beauty, rich history, and world-renowned wines. Our group will have the opportunity to visit the charming towns of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, each offering a distinct experience with their own signature wines and local cuisine. The tour includes guided tastings at multiple award-winning vineyards, where you can savour a variety of wines paired with artisanal cheeses and chocolates. As you traverse the picturesque landscapes, you’ll also learn about the area’s heritage and the winemaking process, making this tour a must-do for any wine enthusiast visiting Cape Town. Full day tour 8 hours and includes 3 wine tastings and lunch at Hazendal wine farm. This evening is at leisure.


Thursday, October 15, 2026 Cape Town, South Africa

Half Day Robben Island Tour

This morning, we depart the hotel and board a ferry from the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V&A Waterfront. You will disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour, situated on the east coast of the island, and take a short walk to our coaches that will transport you to all the historical sites around the island. The prison tour will be conducted by a Robben Island tour guide. They are fully conversant and knowledgeable about the island’s multi-layered 500-year-old history. The tour route includes the graveyard of people who died from leprosy, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe’s house, the Bluestone quarry, the army and navy bunkers, and the maximum-security prison where thousands of South Africa’s freedom fighters were incarcerated for years. The tour culminates with a viewing of Nelson Mandela’s cell before heading back to your hotel for an afternoon at leisure.

Tonight join us for a bar crawl along the waterfront (drinks not included.)

Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour

Following breakfast an unforgettable day unfolds as you leave the city behind to explore the wild coastal beauty of the Cape Peninsula. Travel along the Atlantic seaboard through the pleasant coastal suburbs of Sea Point, Bantry Bay and Clifton. Next up, the journey along Chapman’s Peak 2,000 feet above the ocean is considered by many to be one of the most spectacular coastal drives in the world!

As you continue along the rocky shoreline, note the distinctive Fynbos vegetation; this unique eco-system is home to myriad bird species like African black oystercatchers and Cape sugarbirds. Enter the Cape of Good Hope National Park and be on the lookout for native animals including zebra, bontebok, ostrich and inquisitive baboons. Reaching the iconic Cape Point Lighthouse, you’ll ascend by funicular to take in the captivating views of False Bay.

After an included sea side lunch, visit Boulders Beach for an up-close encounter with African penguins. The return journey up the Peninsula takes you through the charming naval village of Simon’s Town and along the lovely fishing harbor at Kalk Bay and then return to Cape Town in the afternoon (5pm).

This evening we dine at Gold Restaurant. 
The 14-course meal at Gold Restaurant in Cape Town is a unique, multi-sensory dining experience that showcases the rich flavors of African cuisine. The meal takes guests on a culinary journey through different regions of Africa, with each course reflecting the continent’s diverse cultures and ingredients. Welcome drink is included.

Cape Malay Cooking Experience

Whale Watching Tour

  1. False Bay Whale Watching: Experience one of the best boat-based whale watching tours in South Africa, set in the sheltered waters of False Bay.
  2. Whale Species: See Southern Right Whales, Humpback Whales, and Bryde’s Whales, with an opportunity to witness thrilling behaviors like breaching and lobtailing.

South African townships are a significant part of South African culture and history, and a tour is one of the best ways to experience the country through the perspective of native South Africans. In addition to the cultural awakening, this tour gives back with a $100 donation to the local community, so your experience helps to improve the living conditions.

  2. Visionary Locals: Meet the people driving change and shaping the future of Cape Town.
  3. Walk and Sample: Walk through townships, sample local snacks, and engage with the community.

Sunday, October 18, 2026 Depart to Home

Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home. Two shuttle times will be available to the airport. If your flights leave at a different time from the shuttle, we can assist with booking a private car at an additional cost. For those with evening flights we can request a rate for late check-out from the hotel.
